I have been looking online to get some airfare tickets from Boston to For Lauderdale and I have been looking for about 2-3 weeks off and on and believe it or not as I got closer to my departure date the price went down! If you think booking early always gets you the best price think again. My fare went from $171 to $79 for the same flight in a matter of days. I saved a lot of money and I am very excited. I book with Airtran.com and I have flown Airtran before and they are a fine company to fly with.

I have to first say that I don’t usually stay at a Red Roof Inn when I am traveling as I have not be very pleased with the accommodation’s at such hotels as the Red Roof Inn and such but I was going for a family reunion and there were no other hotels available so we booked two nights at the Red Roof Inn in Deerfield Mass. I have to say that I was more than pleased with the hotel. The rooms were very clean, there were plenty of towels, employee’s were very nice and the grounds were clean. The room rate was great too at only $81.99 per night for a large room with two queen beds. I cannot say that all Red Roof Inn’s will be this nice, but if you are ever in need of a hotel near Springfield Mass, this is a great one and a great price.

If you are planning a a vacation to Cape Cod this coming summer 2008 you should know about 3 motels that are all family owned an operated and have been around for more than 25 years each. The Sverid family has been in the hospitality business for more than 50 years and it all started Truro on the Truro/Provincetown line at the Buccaneer motel. Now there is the Blue Sea Motor Inn in Truro, The Southfleet Motor Inn in Wellfleet and the Viking Shores in Eastham. All three motels have pools and are located near a bike trail and only 1 mile or less from the beach. Cape Cod is such a beautiful place, especially in the summer and if you stay at one of the Sverid family motels you will not be disappointed.

My family owns several small motels on the lower Cape Cod and if you are planning a trip to Cape Cod in the near future, you should think about staying on the lower Cape. We have motels spanning from Eastham to Provincetown and they all have great amenities and are very close to the beach, if not located on the beach.


The summer is coming to an end her on the Cape and the motels will be closing for the winter, but next year the season will begin in April at The Southfleet Motor Inn and the season will start in May at the Viking Shores Motor Lodge and the season will begin in June at The Blue Sea Motor Inn.

The Southfleet Motor Inn located in Cape Cod is a great place to getaway to if you need a vacation this summer. All of the rooms are very large and are equipped with brand new refrigerators, large TV’s, Full bathrooms, coffee makers and more.


The Southfleet has 2 large pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The Southfleet has 3 restaurants right next door and the beach is right across the street. If you are planning a vacation to the Cape than you should check out the Southfleet in Wellfleet.

I have to take a anti-nausea pill whenever I am on a plane, ride, boat or train because I get motion sickness. For the past many many years I have always taken Dramamine and it has done the trick. The only problem is that is knocks me out and all I want to do is sleep for the entire day that I take it. So, a friend told me to try Bonine because they said it has no drowsiness affect and it works just as good. So, I tried it and it works just as good as the Dramamine, but I still get very very tired and I cannot keep myself awake. So, I do not think that there is any difference in the effectiveness of Dramamine and Bonine. If you have the smae problem as I do, than I would just buy whichever brand is the cheapest because they will both work the same.

I flew to Florida on JetBlue Airways the other day and I have to say that the service and plane were exceptional. The flight was not even fully booked so we got to spread out over a 6 seat span and have room to lay down and take a nap, it was so great. On the back of each seat is your own personal TV screen o you can watch what you want when you want. JetBlue has XM satellite radio and DirectTV, so you can watch regular TV or listen to some music. And because the flight was not fully booked one of the flight attendants actually came back to me and asked if I wanted to bring my car seat on board for my daughter, it was really nice of them. The overall flight was great and I will be flying JetBlue again.

I am on vacation in Crystal River Florida and visiting family that s down here at school. Crystal River is not a tourist town that is for sure. There is not much touristy to do here. There are Walmart’s and Home Depots and Kmart’s and Malls. It a regular town for locals. There are only 3 motels, one of which is the only one we would stay at. Although the scenery is OK, our motel is located on a small harbor inlet and the motel is nice. It’s a Best Western and it has FREE wifi and a nice little outdoor pool. We do plan on heading down toward Clearwater for the weekend where there is more to do, because it’s pretty boring out here.
